Chiropractic Client FAQ

Is Chiropractic Safe?

Chiropractic care is very safe. Patients as young as one day old, and continuing through all stages of life – into the golden years – can benefit from safe, gentle, effective chiropractic treatments.

Do The Treatments Hurt?

No. Many patients are surprised at how gentle and relaxing chiropractic care is! At Hope Chiropractic & Wellness Center we offer many different techniques which allow the doctors to provide treatments that: 1) you feel comfortable with, 2) work with your body – rather than against it.

Often when patients begin care their body is in a state of dis-ease and increased inflammation. This can cause the tissues and joints to be a bit more sensitive; however by beginning with gentle treatments and allowing the body time to repair these tissues we can ensure minimal discomfort.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

This varies from person to person, depending on the severity of their condition. The doctor will thoroughly evaluate your exam findings (and x-rays if taken) to develop the best course of treatment for you. She will discuss this with you during your second appointment – the Report of Findings. Often patients need more frequent visits at the beginning of their care; however, our top priorities for every patient are to:  1) fully correct the problems in your spine so you can truly heal  2) get you to maintenance care as soon as possible.

What Has Your Clinic Had Success Treating?

Chiropractic is not designed to treat or heal any disease or condition directly, we simply work with your spine and allow your body’s nervous system – which controls and regulates every organ and tissue in your body - to do it's job without interference. Though our goal is never to treat any disease or condition, we do often see patients’ health and conditions improve as their nervous system begins functioning better.

We have seen patient have success in improving the following while under care:

  • Headaches / migraines / tension headaches

  • Sinus problems / allergies

  • Chronic neck and back pain

  • Difficulty sleeping

  • Chronic fatigue / mid-day fatigue

  • Poor immune system function

  • Limited range of motion – in shoulders, neck, low back

  • Wrist pain / carpal tunnel symptoms

  • Brain fog / focus / attention

  • Balance and coordination

  • Chronic muscle spasm

  • And much more!
